The 2000-2001 team might be the most talented ever. Six eventual first round WNBA picks (including two #1's), and there might have been seven if injuries hadn't derailed Shea Ralph. Abrosimova was one of the two best players in Division 1 (vying with Catchings) before she got hurt, and they also had the five players who were the core of a 39-0 team a year later. And they still came within 20 minutes of playing for the national championship, leading Notre Dame by 15 before an inexplicable 2nd half collapse.The '18 team was the best UConn team not to win the championship imo. Maybe the '01 team as well, but Taurasi was still just a freshman that year.
