Once Audrey is available, this may be the norm. If Carol miraculously plays again, substitute may for will. It makes a whole lot of sense to have Jana back up the five and Ice back up the four ( her natural position).

When asked about playing Sarah at the center spot by a reporter he said that yes, there would be a lot more of Sarah and Four guards

Nana, it would be so much funnier if it was tied to a game time line. Still, very good.

Assuming Azzi is a permanent fixture in the starting lineup, the 4 guard lineup becomes more likely and even more when Aubrey returns since even though she is more wing like size she can rebound, and block shots like a big. On the perimeter we will have a couple of pretty good players that don't start in a traditional lineup, one of which could be the fourth guard in a small ball lineup, with Paige being the 4.

In many ways it is would you rather have Ash or KK in the lineup, vs. Ice or Jana. But Sarah and Paige would not be at their best position, and I wonder if small ball will work against the top contenders with very good bigs. Aubrey minimizes that since she can play big and the 4 is probably her best position.

Ideally Ice and Jana give Geno no reason to feel he has to play Sarah at the 5, we can feel our bigs can hold their own against top contenders, and we have lots of proven depth not just in the backcourt but upfront as well.
