There is a website called MasterClass that offers what are essentially classes or lectures on a variety of topics. I subscribed after someone shared a class on AI taught by a professor at Wharton and it was fascinating. There are cooking classes with Gordon Ramsey, filmmaking lessons by Spike Lee, and something called Think Like a Boss by Martha Stewart, among many others.

Anywho, Geno has a 15 session master class on teamwork and leadership and he uses examples from his team to illustrate his points. It’s interesting to hear him talk about building relationships and learning how to listen. Apparently communicating with 18-22 year olds is more challenging now than in the past. If you have MasterClass, or have an opportunity to get a free pass, give Geno’s class a listen. It’s always interesting to hear him speak

I learned a lot from Geno reading his biography. He stated we get enamored about process. He didn't care if the team ran a perfect play and didn't make the basket. He much preferred the play being botched and the basket made. Results were what counted.
I used that frequently in training my sales people.
Geno is a smart man.

File this under “Never confuse activity with accomplishment” as all the good sales reps I ever worked with said.
