I assume that wasnt a pretty matchup ?? I didnt see that game.
Tina was dominant. BG had a few good plays but Tina basically schooled BG.

But she did make Tina work hard. She was not her usual self two days later against Stanford. My feeling is that Griner would be able to handle EW at this stage without being adversely affected in the next game. Not a knock on EW, but Griner has physical attributes that make her a tough matchup for anyone, even Tina Charles.Tina was dominant. BG had a few good plays but Tina basically schooled BG.

huh? you make no sense. and by the way the experts disagree with you too. and they have no agreement across the board either.
Charlie Creme says the hardest regional is Kingston (UCONN). of the other 5, 2 chose Raleigh and 3 chose Des Moines.
you completely missed my point. did you forget the part about of the 6 experts, not a single one thought UCONN's bracket was the easiest? frankly i'm not sure what you are even arguing about. So 1 out of the 6 experts you named think UConn is in the hardest bracket. I guess you showed me! But they have as little travel as any team could possibly have without playing on campus. And let's be serious, it's WCBB. After the top 2 or 3 teams in each bracket, does it really matter? UConn pummeled the #6 overall team on the road this year. The 12th ranked team is seeded 2nd in UConn's region and the only other threat is the 3rd best team in the ACC (and that team has to travel over 3,000 miles in the 1st round!). And I don't make sense? Admit it, it's a total gift!
Kind words. Tina was so polished that year and she certainly let BG know that she had a lot of work to do. It was good for Griner. BG has made strides and I believe that game against Tina pushed her to a new level.
That is another reason that I pray that BG makes it on the Olympic team. I believe that she will come back much better than she is today.
