Gametime: USA with Pheesa v. Canada with Kia

Kia with a great drive, but misses the layup.

40-28 at the half. I think half of our 28 came on FTs. Offense looks abysmal.

I want Azzi Fudd on the floor. :D

Geno going to be interviewed next. Should be fun. :)

Sorry, gang, I was comparing notes with other BYers and listening to Geno.

58-48. USA had cut the deficit to 5.

Most aggressive players on the floor: Nurse (18 points) and Wilson (just picked up a charge)

A couple of highlights. I think both Tuck and Plum hit threes.

On one play, Pheesa stole the inbound pass, led the break, and fed Tina for a layup.

As Geno said, she may not be great at one thing, but she's very good at just about everything.

Another play: Wilson missed in close, missed the tip, and made the 3rd attempt. Beast on the boards. Geno noted it.

Geno also noted it when Tuck made consecutive buckets.

Wilson just got an offensive putback.

Kia looking great. Canada will need her to be special to hold of the US

Raincock-Ekewne (?) did a nice job for the Liberty last year. She's pretty good.

Plum hits a trey to pull the USA to 60-62.

Now tied after a Wilson bucket.

Nurse drives the lane, puts up a shot, and Williams blocks it way into the stands.

Colliers pass in the open court opened up Wilson's layup. Collier on the court in crunch time tells me all I need to know.

Good air time for the current Huskies--as Pheesa commits a foul.
