Games of interest, Dec. 2-8

Pacific goes down to CSU Bakersfield. CSU Bakersfield plays Oregon State on 12/29. Pacific gave OSU a bit of trouble in Corvallis! I'm sure Rueck won't have to educate his team about a dangerous CSU Bakersfield team.
Ha or maybe Pacific just isn't that good after all

Very possible! It may turn out that the PAC-12 is the weakest conference in WCBB this season--it seems everything is possible this season.

Somewhat lost in the shuffle today has been another surprising result: Texas Southern beat Rice, 63-56.

Aside from its near upset of TAMU, Rice has been a big disappointment. Blown out by Oklahoma State, losses to SMU and TSU. All three of these were road losses.

Playing without the injured Bella Alarie, Princeton was in a close game with a very decent Marist team but then blew it open in the 4th quarter with a 25-point 4th quarter.

Princeton moves to 6-1, including wins over FGCU and Seton Hall.

welp....looks like Rice will have to win its conference tournament this year to go to the NCAAs... and looks like the CUSA will be a one bid league again.

UCLA over CSUN 58-44, I see in the box score no Corsaro or Horvat. Hadn't heard anything about the injury bug hitting UCLA.

You were right to be worried.

We were embarrassed today. Our defense was manhandled, they had clean looks all day. They shot near 60% from 3. We only had two players who could score too.

They better get their act together and quickly before we travel to play Florida Gulf Coast. That game has major trouble written all over it.

Well at least you have an awesome football team.

Bit foggy on Alarie's injury. Serious? Prognosis?

Maybe Coach Orgeron could give some inspirational words.

Our team needs much more than inspiration. Inspiration isn't gonna stop us from airmailing our 3's

Maybe Coach O can get involved with our recruiting.

Well, it is shaping up that LSU might play OK in the College Football Playoffs. Amazing how the universe works.

MD 85 Loyola of MD 38 6 minutes left.

Nice to see Maryland back playing against a level that they can beat.

Louisville with only a 2-point lead on the road at Northern Kentucky.

I can't find it now, but somebody called it--Arizona St. is trailing Idaho St. 35-29 approaching halftime.

ASU in a real battle here, up by 2 with 3 minutes to play.

The Bengals tie it up at 56. ASU has gone scoreless for over 4 minutes now.

ASU going OT.
Idaho State hit a ridiculously lucky 3-pointer to tie the game in the last 30 seconds. Like losing her balance and heave it up with her left hand and bank it in.

ASU might pull this out.

Tapley never stood out to me at USC, but ASU would really be hurting without her contributions this year.

An Idaho State player went down with what bears all the signs of an ACL injury. She's being wheelcharied off. :(
