Games Feb. 24 – Mar. 1

TCU cut it to 1, but then Chrislyn Carr got a layup to put Tech back up by 3 with 30 seconds left.

Monster Game by Lexi , Drew foul after foul. 30pts (11-12 FT) and 11 Rebounds.

Texas Tech completes a season sweep over TCU. What?!

The Big 12 is just a giant mosh pit after Baylor. TCU is supposed to be the #2 team, but yet they got swept by Tech and also have a loss to Middle Tennessee State.

Vanderbilt finally didn't play a horrible 4th quarter.

Pulled out the big win over Kentucky 70-64 on senior day for Fasoula (24 points) and Carter (10 points).

This should end any remote chance that Kentucky had at hosting.

DePaul getting blitzed by Marquette, down 20 in the 4th.
DePaul headed in the wrong direction lately, also lost badly at Villanova on Harry Peretta Day.

This is a huge win for Marquette to lock up their bid, and it would definitely knock DePaul out of hosting IMO.

Also means UConn likely to go into NCAAs without a single Top 20 win, and possibly no wins against ranked teams at all. Has that ever happened in the Geno era?

Bradley mounting a comeback against Missouri State, now down 3 with just under a minute left.
Showing on ESPN+

Syracuse and Boston College in a shootout, tied at 45 at the half.

Three key results in the Missouri Valley, with the favored teams surviving tough challenges:

Missouri State hangs on to beat Bradley 69-66.
Drake squeaks by Valparaiso, 83-79.
Northern Iowa finishes on a 15-9 run to beat Loyola Chicago 73-70.

UNI will host Drake on Friday, a must-win if they are to have any shot at a bid. UNI has wins over Iowa, Iowa State and Bradley, but their RPI is only in the mid-70s.

They will keep Depaul in the rankings. maybe not in my BY Poll

If they win their conference tourney they should climb into top 20 (if they drop out). Pretty sure this would be the first time since either the 80s or early 90s.

Made a huge comeback effort very similar to the UCONN game but too little too late.

Do you mean top 20 in the polls, or top 20 according to the committee?

They're probably a 5 seed at this point. But yeah DePaul's mini-slide here is bad news for UConn.

Boston College wins 88-81. Picked to finish 13th in the conference.... they end up as the 6th seed for the ACC tournament. I like Coach Hillsman...but he foolishly picked up a T in the last minute of the game... while they were only down by 4.
