To win, we'll have to stop AJ Dillon, the local New London kid. In his last four games:
Louisville: 39 rushes/272 yards
Virginia: 24 rushes/89 yards
Florida State: 33 rushes/149 yards
NC State: 36 rushes/196 yards

By comparison, UConn has been giving up and average of 176 rushing yards/game (79th out of 130 in rush defense) mostly because teams have been throwing on us.

BC has a very strong running game, but putting 8 or 9 in the box is risky. Dillion can break thru and he has the speed to take it to the house. Their back up QB Wade also has short passing options to TE and WR all with speed. The weather could play a major role in this game. It looks to be wet, windy and cold, maybe even sleet after 7 pm!

Can our offense move the ball? BC is strong and fast on D, it's going to be a big challenge, but short quick passes are our best option.

As long as we look reasonable these last two games, REv2 has met my expectations. Winning this game would definitely be the icing on the cake.

(And I wouldn't say no to a Cinci win either!)

Gilmartin makes the depth chart. Okounam for a second week in a row (wow, and he had a tackle last week).

If BC knocks out Junior Joseph it could get ugly.

I think we will need to play with more beef up front in this game. Use Murphy and Foley together on some downs.

And on offense, we will need a scheme to negate the BC Dline.
