Nice Randy. Diaco’s guys were bad so,I brought in my guys. My guys are bad so I’ll bring in new guys. Maybe you should prioritize winning games. And play those guys. I don’t give two poops who recruited them. Play the most physically ready, experienced guys. Try to win.

My first year at UConn was the Edsall's first year. He was coaching Skip Holz's player. It began with a 53-17 loss to Hofstra and ended with a 62-20 loss to UMass. This is who he is when he doesn't have his players. Benedict signed up for 4 years of this when he hired Edsall. The best case scenario at the end of this abyss is what he did from 2003-2004 and 2008-2011. Of course there is no guarantee we even get there again and I don't see a CT game changer like Orlovsky riding in on a horse.

I understand that, but we made it to a fiesta bowl, Edsall left, and in 2018 we don’t have a junior or senior playing on defense. Is it Edsall or was it the 6 years of garbage in between?

FWIW, I don’t think that Edsall has done a good job so far. I truly believe that he chased off upperclassmen that could’ve helped this team. But I also think that he’ll get it turned around eventually.

I sometimes wonder if Northern Illinois also constantly brags about having been to a BCS bowl. We’d laugh if we heard them talk about their history, but we were probably the worst team to ever play in a BCS bowl. Fell butt backwards into it and RE acts like he was running the 85 bears lol
