You should feel safe saying it can't get any worse on D, but not with this team.

In theory three WR's running freely isn't any more effective than 2 WR's running freely on a play.

Why do I feel like I'll regret this analysis within 30 min?

Two of CT’s finest....Good friends, played against each other in high school, competing again at the college level.

>>Swann tied for the team lead with seven solo tackles and forced a fumble that set up the Huskies' second touchdown. Brown finished with six solo stops and fellow true freshman starting defensive back Omar Fortt made three tackles as the Huskies upset Temple 28-24 for the team's first road win since 2015 and first conference win in nearly a year.

"The thing that I like is that a lot of these young guys, they are having fun and competing," UConn coach Randy Edsall said. "They are coachable, they fly around and what we have to do is get them better as much as we can."

Only twice in the previous 10 seasons for the Huskies have true freshmen combined for more that 16 solo tackles in a season. Swann, Brown and Fortt combined for that many in four quarters against Temple. Arizona, Ball State, Illinois and Oregon are the only Football Bowl Subdivision programs with a game this season where true freshmen combined for at least 16 solo tackles.<<
