I think UConn can pull this off. They barely beat the worst Clemson team we've seen since Dabo took over. Just gotta sure up tackling and we can run away with this.
I agree. Duke’s schedule hasn’t been all that difficult (and they lost to Illinois, Tulane, and Georgia Tech). UCONN all the way here.

Based on a quick review of the last 10 seasons at the Rent, we have never had a 30K crowd for a November home game during the last 10 seasons. Closest was 2015 v Houston with 26k. So anything in the 30k range would be a significant achievement in the land of steady habits.
This is pretty crazy to think about. Liberty in 2022 probably deserved 30k+ especially after the upset win, but I do realize there was very little momentum in that season because of how it started...

Yep I was there and it remains one of the smallest crowds I have ever witnessed at the Rent. Mind boggling to me even today, bowl eligibility in the balance after years of futility and a ranked team to boot

The apologists here blamed it on an early forecast of rain that was corrected in plenty of time before game day. Much like the early rain forecast for this Saturday. It was a completely dry day

-> Duke, which is a win away from bowl eligibility, is 3-1 on the road this season. UConn has won 11 of its last 12 in East Hartford including a 4-0 mark this season.

"I think winning at home sets the floor of your program," Duke coach Manny Diaz said in his press conference in Durham Monday. "I think winning away sets the ceiling of your program. It's really hard to be an elite college football program without winning away from home."

A win for the Huskies would assure back-to-back winning seasons for the first time since 2009-10, the last time they were bowl eligible in consecutive seasons. <-
