-> Bell said that Fagnano is so comfortable that he is even heeding the encouragement of his teammates and talking a little bit of trash to the defense. As he finally comes out of his shell, it makes the offensive players want to play for him even more.

“Joe has been great,” Bell said. “He has been in college for a while. He knows the offense. He knows where the ball is supposed to go and where it is not supposed to go. He knows how to make reads. He knows how to get guys in position to make plays. Even when you might be covered, he knows where to put the ball where only you can get it.

“Having him back at the helm of the offense is going to be big for us.” <-

I was sounding the “play Joe F” alarm early last year.

That being said, I was encouraged by what I saw when Evers was in the game today. Nice crisp passes and it appears he’s been working in the off season.

One things if for sure, we’ll see both QBs this year.

And one other thing I liked today was the rotation at QB for a change. The old Mora would have played Joe the entire game.

I liked the approach and hope this continues as needed. We have depth at QB, let’s use it as the situations call for it.
