According to the press release after the game there were over 21,000 people at the game.We lost to Rice. By definition that is choking. There were more players then fans at that game.

IMAGINE BEING 10.5 POINT FAVORITES, SCORING A TD ON THE FIRST PLAY OF THE GAME, THEN PLAYING SCARED THE REST OF THE GAME IN FRONT OF ALL 12 OF THEIR HOME FANS! Not attempting fourth down conversions, not going for two in overtime, throwing 2 yard routes to the flat on 3rd and 8. GROUNDHOGS DAY!
As someone posted in the other thread, the team was full of themselves after last week's win.

This may be true. But it's not why they lost this game.
I think that includes the individual rice pieces in the concession stands as fans.
Please explain in detail how they lost in choking fashion.
Our offense needs to go full throttle. Once we get a 2 score lead we should continue to push for a 3 then 4 score lead... forget about trying run the ball to run the clock down....because our D can't hold water ( on the road ...save the BCU game )But at least our QB still has 0 INTs....
I don't want to hear the media go goo goo gah gah over that stat the rest of the year.
And ENOUGH with the moral victories...
Our 7 yr vet needs to help us get a win in these now 3 OT situations.
We're not there yet. I felt like we could be. At moments we kinda looked like it... BUT, then our D couldn't hold up...and when it finally did start to hold up our O fell a tad short.
We don't have a killer instinct. We need one.
