Problem is we are not deep at D-line either to take a starter away from that group. Now if we come out running the option with Jelani at FB it will be interesting.

Let Rosa run that option. Go all Navy on em with 3 days practice! But it could actually work against some upcoming opponents.

Going to be catching the remnants of the hurricane for this game. Will be a sloppy one. I have liked our trench play during our battles with the highly ranked teams. Maybe we can make something happen vs a team who has lost a couple starters including their QB...

Sometimes when you get what you wish for you may in the end wish you didn't. Logan Fife, backup QB, had better stats against USC than the starter. Maybe the line should have gone up instead of down to 22.5.........................unless our DB's are better than those at USC.

"Fife ran four series against the Trojans and Fresno State generated 231 total yards, averaging a healthy 7.2 yards per play. The Bulldogs averaged 6.8 for the game and have been at 7.0 or higher in only 10 games over the past four years plus three games this season. Fife misfired on his first passing attempt, throwing low and away to running back Jordan Mims circling out of the backfield, but he hit 11 in a row after that including eight that went for first downs and plays of 26 yards to tight end Raymond Pauwels Jr. and 32 yards to running back Malik Sherrod.

If the backup QB is halfway decent, it is pretty common as the other team has not prepared for them.
