Here's the comments from one of the usual "upbeat" contributors in the chatroom:
FIRST HALF:
They are not a very good basketball team
Against a D2 team with 9 new players that went 9-18 last year
I realize that is the first scrimmage but UConn looks terrible
I hate Ollie's offense
Larrier and Facey look decent but that's it
I don't understand why some people had high expectations for this team. They lost the 3 best players off a meh team last year
Stop trying to trivialize this embarrassment
Disgusting
1 on 1 isos is all we run
If this was against a lower D1 school then fine but it's against an abysmal D2 team with 9 new players

Whoever wrote this is an idiot

Starting to pull away up 59-45, 6 straight by Vance on an and one and 3 pointer. Current box score.

Syracuse lost to a DII school a few years ago and were just fine (30-5, 1 seed, an injury away from being prohibitive favorites)

Jackson is on fire now team high 15 points 4 3pointers (5/6 fg 4/5 3pts). 69-51 lead.

How about Brimah with 0 pts, 4 rbs. Hope it was just a fluke first exhibition game

Brimah has zero offensive skills and now needs to find someone to feed him lobs

Maybe Larrier, Jackson when he's in

Brimah didn't look good today. He doesn't need to be a big time scorer. He needs to rebound and block shots. This team has a lot of offense weapons.

Vance stroking it is great to see, everyone else throwing up a donut from deep not so much.

To me perimeter shooting will be key for us. Need Purvis to continue his outside stroke progress as well Adams becoming a better overall jump shooter
