Syracuse lost to a DII school a few years ago and were just fine (30-5, 1 seed, an injury away from being prohibitive favorites)

Jackson is on fire now team high 15 points 4 3pointers (5/6 fg 4/5 3pts). 69-51 lead.

How about Brimah with 0 pts, 4 rbs. Hope it was just a fluke first exhibition game

Brimah has zero offensive skills and now needs to find someone to feed him lobs

Maybe Larrier, Jackson when he's in

Brimah didn't look good today. He doesn't need to be a big time scorer. He needs to rebound and block shots. This team has a lot of offense weapons.

Here you go. Brimah 0/4/1 got cut off.

Anyone have the stat lines? Or a way to find them?

Vance stroking it is great to see, everyone else throwing up a donut from deep not so much.

To me perimeter shooting will be key for us. Need Purvis to continue his outside stroke progress as well Adams becoming a better overall jump shooter

I saw a couple notes that said Adams looked a lot better and smoother with his jumper. Also from what I've read, the game turned around when Gilbert was running the show

I don't put much weight on these games, but Vance Jackson's shooting is going to be great. Our offense is still pretty stale.

Kentan's play was encouraging early in the game. He was aggressive and showed some more patience when making moves on offense. I thought TL played pretty well. He showed some nice lateral quickness on defense...he could be a very good defender. Vance was probably the player of the game, as his 3's (which barely grazed net when going through) gave us big lifts. He gave up a 3 on D where he got caught pretty badly behind a screen, but will give him a pass in first game. He seems to have that Rashad A. cool about him when shooting, but let's see how he does on the real games (I'm betting he'll be very good when shooting open 3's. He also chose to pass up some open 3's early in the shot clock once and when he may have been a little too deep for an early 3.

Steve E. made a really nice left-handed jump hook, but was awful in the beginning of the game drawing 2 very quick fouls. He is just not a shotblocker, but let's hope he can get a handle on the quick fouling. It looks to me that Durham could be a shotblocker if he feels confident in his legs.

I hope that KO would give the ball to Jalen and try to have him push to make plays and get going more quickly. He seemed to get more comfortable early in the second half. I liked the way that Jalen and Alterique passed to each other.

what about brimah?
Like a minute into the game he walked over to the bench and it looked like they were taping his fingers up. Could be why he only played like 15 minutes. That said, when he was on the floor he was a non-factor
