I know some don't care for Edsall, but that there is a moment that he would have gone for it. We need to keep the ball at all costs at this point...

No reason Newsome shouldn't have had the 1st. Got too cute instead of just going for it.

But announcers are 100% on the play that followed. Bad coaching. Really, really bad coaching. Rich Kotite could've seen that coming.

I don't blame any of the legions of fans that have already left one bit.

Again we telegraph the QB sneak. Diablo might just as well send a copy of our offensive playbook to the other team before the game. How many times do you think you can get away with telegraphing the QB sneak play before your opponent is going to catch on to what you're doing? Absolutely mind boggling coaching incompetence.

I referenced that in other posts. That the staff wasn't prepared for Anderson to come in to the game. I never said Diaco was correct in what he was saying, I commented on what he would say.

We have players. It is our non-agressive playcalling on both sides of the ball that cripple us. We have the plays, but we constantly make stupid calls like the QB sneak for the 5th time, running Ron j on a sweep on 2nd and 12 for mo gain, outsmarting ourselves on what should be an easy FG.....playing off the ball against a qb that cant throw down the field....
 
Its like our DB's hear what they're supposed to do and go Costanza-style total opposite. Its amazing.

-rarely turn to the ball
-when you do, turn the absolute wrong way
-fling your head around because you have no idea where the ball is
-make perfect form tackle after the guy has secured the ball
 
Why not fake the sneak, three step drop and hit a TE? Farking clueless, unimaginative, dolts. After 4 or 5 times running the same play in the same situation, it's called a set-up doofuses.

We're only allowed to run one specific fake and run it so often it isnt even a fake anymore
 
We continue to have this pretention about being a P5 level program, yet we may lose to three directional schools this year.

This is inexcusable. There's clearly enough talent on this squad to go 7-5 or even 8-4 this year. It's looking like 5-7.

Someday, I don't know when, we will be rewarded for our sacrifice. Maybe with a miraculous season where we break into a New Year's bowl game, and get invited to the B1G and the ACC at the same time, tell the ACC to p!$$ up a rope and take the B1G offer, and the Men's team wins a national championship against Duke, beats UK in the final Four, and Syracuse gets the Death Penalty retroactively. Oh, and we each get a puppy. That will make it worth it.

Unless it is the fake, fake punt play. I'd live to talk to the meathead who cane up with that and hear the logic. It must be simply stunning.
 
This UConn team has some tough SOB's at the skill positions.

I woke up in the middle of the night and there was a Chinese Arena Football League game on.

They had more fans in the stands and those people likely had no clue what the hell was going on.

Stop. Edsall didn't go for anything in our fiesta bowl game.
 
Great play by Newsome! The kid's got a ton of heart.
 
We need to score as quickly as possible. The 2pt conversion is not guaranteed. Hope Bob realizes that. Coach like a 2 score game right now.
