boyle will get picked a lot if he doesn't fix his mechanics. too much tilt sitting on his back foot will casue him to throw high a lot. over the middle could be a problem.

really. I've never seen the kid play and that was obvious right away. He might just be nervous and trying to gun everything and show off his sizable arm. But he's missing guys high almost every pass.

as for the high throws...i would attribute some of that to mechanics, but a bunch to nerves. This is his first start. I have a feeling he will calm down. I also assume that Day will be talking to him about it between series'

Agreed, looks like he still is trying to settle in a bit. Although some of those balls would have been tough catches, the receivers need to make a big play or two.

no. wrong negative guy. all I said was he was too much on his back foot (too much tilt) and gonna overthrow a lot of guys if he doesn't fix it...jeez, relax everyone. The kid has a nice release and a big arm, bigger than anyone we've seen since DO. I'd bet he'd be more accurate on the move than sitting in the pocket becasue he can't sit back as much. its easily fixable and might just be a reaction to playing his first eve game as a true frosh (ie trying to throw everything just a bit harder)
