Correct me if I'm wrong: if the defender knocks the ball out of your hands, it can't be over and back, right?

.-.
Giffey should be in there instead of Evans plain and simple

just a sad ending

RJ? c'mon man, play like a man

looks scared out there

I know Boatright wants to take all the big shots, but he got a lot to learn as a PG. He dribbles way too much and he does not set up his teammates like a good PG should do. Evans have no business playing in this kind of games. It is simply over his head. I much rather see Giffy out there playing.

UCONN needs to start Phil Nolan and have Orlander play limited minutes off the bench.

If we had Shabazz for this game, we definitely would have won.

Also, there is no way Boatright should enter the NBA draft after this season. If he wants to play in the D-league forever, he should but he is nowhere close to be ready for the NBA right now.

No way that should have been called a backcourt but I'm not sure Boat comes up with the ball there

If the defender kicks it as well it shouldn't be a backcourt violation.

looks like Kevin has come around about TO, just not getting it done

Tough to win when you one have one ballhandler. Boatright was never able to get a blow. Good effort again.

Great effort by our guys. We made mistakes, no doubt. Some players could play better, no doubt. But still, they gave Cinci all they could handle.

The reason why RJ was in there was because Ollie wanted 2 ballhandlers. Was that NOT plainly obvious?

And guess what ref called that? The same guy that took away the goaltend.

NG was in foul trouble and never got in rhythm. Still, he should have been in there at crunch time.

Giffey injured his finger early in the 2nd half. That's why he wasn't in at the end.

boat touched the ball first after losing control.. thought the same thing and just went back to watch...

A strange rule. Sometimes if the D knocks it lose and the O touches it last in a scramble before it goes over it's okay. Sometimes it's not. When Cronin has the refs in his tiny little pocket, it's not.

It'd be helpful if SNY's top notch announcers could mention that.

Also what was the clarification on the goaltend?

I hope Phil doesn't take this game personally. We would have lost by 14-16 without him stepping huge. A missed freethrow by a freshman big is a physical mistake I can live with 100 percent of the time. The mental errors by experienced players not so much.

You could see he was pretty upset with himself over that one. Just remember Phil, without your 8 pts and 7 boards, this one isn't even close.
