If the defender kicks it as well it shouldn't be a backcourt violation.Correct me if I'm wrong: if the defender knocks the ball out of your hands, it can't be over and back, right?

boat touched the ball first after losing control.. thought the same thing and just went back to watch...Correct me if I'm wrong: if the defender knocks the ball out of your hands, it can't be over and back, right?
A strange rule. Sometimes if the D knocks it lose and the O touches it last in a scramble before it goes over it's okay. Sometimes it's not. When Cronin has the refs in his tiny little pocket, it's not.Correct me if I'm wrong: if the defender knocks the ball out of your hands, it can't be over and back, right?

It'd be helpful if SNY's top notch announcers could mention that.Giffey injured his finger early in the 2nd half. That's why he wasn't in at the end.
Did not look like it to me. Just lost it when went behind the back. So, ball wasn't knocked out of his hands?
You could see he was pretty upset with himself over that one. Just remember Phil, without your 8 pts and 7 boards, this one isn't even close.I hope Phil doesn't take this game personally. We would have lost by 14-16 without him stepping huge. A missed freethrow by a freshman big is a physical mistake I can live with 100 percent of the time. The mental errors by experienced players not so much.
