No, you are conceding the punt in what is basically a no win situation. If you get the first, then great. If not, just don't put your QB (who has 16 INT) in a position to make things worse. It was a fine play call (as much as it hurts me to say about GDL).


Really good effort by the team to get back in this.

I'll explain...you have a QB that throws a lot of picks. You have momentum. There are 30 seconds left, and you are using your backup kicker.

It isn't playstation people. My bad if you meant that we should have just knelt the ball. I agree with that.

Seriously? Did you see the replay? Wilson all but took his wallet. It was holding before it became pass interference.

It is lucky, but we also don't score a lot of points in BE games during the second half, so we need a pick six or a run back of a punt to aid the lack of adjustments by GDL

Ok, I misunderstood the point. I can agree with kneeling the ball. I thought the poster wanted us to be aggressive. My bad.
 
You all heard the quote. We're playing to keep it a close game in the fourth quarter so we can try and steal a win. Sounds a lot like GDL's playing for 3rd down quote. I have to say, that is not a philosophy that gets me particularly excited about HCPP. Should our goal be to stop them on the first possession on the third and then proceed to beat the crap out of them? Not to play for a tight game in the fourth quarter? That's basic PR. Have higher expectations.
 
this sucks if uconn wins PP and GDL wont be fired although at least we get a bowl

Yes, I think it is pathetic. This coach staff just has no balls we've seen it in the few instances where we've had leads, and we see it in games like this. No guts no f"ing glory.
 
Thought we were headed to a 28-3 kind of half, happy it is only 14-10.

Come on guys, it's obvious we need to keep our 1,000 yard RB streak going!

He did put great effort into that incomplete pass however, but he is much more content dancing around when running instead of getting the available 3 yards.

Yea he did make a good effort on that play I think the coaches should learn to rotate the RB's more than the damn QB's

I think special team and defensive points don't count in that number, so we are going to need a bunch of those
