Currently at the game and I must say, I'm so glad I decided to come out tonight. I thought it would be closer, but alas, they're putting on a basketball clinic. And this aggressive, fierce Saniya is exactly what I've been waiting to see! As always, let's go Huskies!

Some of us have been complaining a bit about our effort and play during the second and fourth quarters of games. How are we doing tonight? Even when the starting five haven't been on the floor together!

She is capable and always has been. It's been about confidence and minutes. This could be her coming out party in that respect. And her other contribs have been excellent.
I know this has been raised before but is this a rare case where the master puppeteer has pulled the wrong strings?

CBS announcers are pretty bad. They just listed POY candidates Wilson, Walker-Kimbrough, Turner, Mitchell, no LOU, Pheesa or Plum? They listed teams that could beat UConn = MD, ND, SC, FSU?, no Baylor?

That half was just bonkers. When the halftime buzzer sounded, I stood up in my living room and applauded. Nothing else to say.

I want to see our deep reserves play in the second half, but most important, I'd love to see them play very well. Keep it rolling!

I know that Natalie is the tallest player on the court (by a lot), but still a shout out for how she's been playing recently! It can only be good....
love the aggressiveness by her and Chong on the offensive end

That a close as you are going to get to a perfect half. Me thinking it and Swim confirming it.

2 more for Chong with the bank shot as she falls out of bounds 70-19 8:42 3rd

I don't think so. Chong herself has acknowledged it's in her mind (her lack of confidence). I wonder if it's like when you do something instinctually - you're just a natural at it... and then you start to think about it and make conscious choices. Suddenly, it all goes to hell in a basket and you don't know how to fix it. Because it in her mind, it's tough to "break down her mechanics and get it back on track." I'm optimistic that's something has clicked and will stay clicked through the rest of her time at UConn. That would be a lovely thing to witness.

Nice Gabby! playing volleyball finally comes down with and a basket! 76-21

The first half against DePaul was pretty damn good too.

Gabby 2 points and 3 assist short of triple double.
