This drives me nuts. Screw the clock games and run the offense. This is giving my sleeping dog nightmares.

we're again playing not to lose... giving away possession after possession by running nothing. it's becoming a pattern.

Its been a pattern for 10+ years. Why there are rarely blow outs.

agreed on the fact they take the air out of the ball wayyy too early. and the fact they dont need to face jc when they make a mistake?

They regularly blow large leads towards the end of the game.

I dont think anyone is concerned that UConn will lose this game. However, finishing out games will be imperative come March. I would like to see a blowout like the ladies put on. St Johns coming back has more to do with laziness than talent.

St Johns is fresh off a 20+ point rout of Providence, happy with a 15+ win. Definitely some lazy stretches, but the game was never in question.

In order for UConn to correct these trait of getting lazy when getting the lead, Napier and Lamb need to take total ownership of the team. Napier as PG and Lamb as an All American candidate need to keep the teams motor running when it's starting to sputter.

Also I agree that Giffey needs some minutes. Was really worried he was about to be buried on the bench next to Wolff. If we can find mins for Beverly we gotta find some for Giffey.
