Lyttle and Nichols have played their tails off...the Spanish guards not hitting early and now look winded...
 
The thin Spanish team dead, but Nichols scores and Angel outruns down the court to answer...DT pops a very fluid long 2..
 
Bird nice feed to Nmeka but good defense and Palau gets a nice feed at the other end...now Palau another nice finish 75-54...
 
US not pushing it, so some subs coming in...Griner and Moore...Geno not going deep...
 
Spain tries an alley oop to Nichols with Griner on her...Nichols draws about 6 inches of air and laughs as the ball goes out of bounds...have to like her...
 
Breanna gets in and fouls Sancho at the key...vertical arms and no foul in reality but Sancho at the line...
 
Long 3 by Rodriguez and 75-59 with under 2 minutes...Spain on an 11-0 run...
 
Sancho buries a 3... Garbage time narrowing the score to 77-64...now Lyttle steals on a bad pass to Breanna
 
Lyttle puts up an airball from 3...Nichols misses over Griner and Spain fouls with 30 seconds left...Griner tries a slam but takes a foul...at the line for two...77-64 as Odyssey freezes out the last few seconds...
 
This game had none of the drama provided by the Opals or the Serbs...Spain matches up poorly with the US....
