It's days like this when I miss Orangeland. I'm sure they've gone nuts over Maya starting.

Worried when the team quickly went down 10-0. I am surprised the starters got Team USA back into the game.

Team USA has to get their 3 point shots to fall. Could cost them in the medal round.

So is 3 point shooting this bad in the WNBA? Whose the best WNBA 3 point shooter? Is she on the team? IF not, why? This team can't hit 3's consistently.

Tina is rushing her shots and has missed some easy layups. Poor shooting by Team USA and poor defense by allowing the Czech players to get open shots

That was the worst offensive foul I think I've ever seen. You know the refs won't give UConn a break though.

Slow US start again, but starting to get into a rhythm now. Up 37-32 early in Q2.

Maya started and has 6 reb and 7 pts. Tina has 10 pts.

I knew Tina Charles was good, but she's just continued to get better. It's almost incomprehensible to remember her being dominated in the Elite 8 against LSU as a sophomore. What work she's put in to get where she is now.

I've been really impressed with Angel McCoughtry this tourney, as well. She's such a pest and always seems to know where the ball is going...such quick hands.

Interviewing Maya at halftime...bringing energy and limiting the Czech 3-point shots were her main points. She's at 7 pts, 6 reb at halftime.
