They will NEVER catch that little sprite

Stef so smooth on that rising turnaround below the foul line.

.-.
Stef playing out of her mind - two steals in short order!!

I think most teams are having a really hard time with our 3 x big Zone

UConn is obviously going to win...but can they make it pretty enough to satisfy the BY and Geno? That's the only question in the final 28:35...

UConn Defense is a bunch of thieves...how many steals thus far?

We've had about 5 (so it seems) TOs we've caused only to turn right around and lose it right back. e.g. Stokes stealing the ball while stepping in the sideline. Weird.

that is the question. Need crisper offense, better rebounding, fewer fouls, etc.

KML hot early, but missed the last few. Good to see her continue to shoot, though, and try to work back into shooting range.

I have a feeling we are gonna take off here shortly and blow it open.

nice inside pass - MoJett to Stef - for 2
Moriah steals again (5th steal)

Love how Mo kept her dribble alive while sitting down :)

Like the last Memphis game, Memphis is playing UConn tough. Memphis fell apart after the 10 minute mark when UConn went on a huge run. Doesn't look like that's going to happen tonight as UConn is not shooting as well in this game.

Stewie has 4, I believe.

Can an 8th grader be the Defensive POY?

I know Stewie got fouled there, but there's no way she shouldn't be able to go up strong with her length against a smaller player like that. Maybe not make it every time it (when there's too much contact) but she just gets blocked and stymied too often. She needs to use her feet and body more effectively around the rim when she's in tight.

Weight training is not the answer for this issue.

Sometimes you get a lot of steals because you are overplaying out of position and it also leads to good shots for the opposition because you can't get back.
