For what it is worth...I will take Kiah's blocked shots and outstanding effort on the boards over her scoring big points. We have plenty of scorers. Kiah brings a dimension to defense and rebounding (offensive and defensive) that plays a critical role at key points of so many games.

Show that Iowan some love!

No, because you're an uninformed jerk (and I'm being nice).
How am I uninformed? Tell me one thing I said that was uninformed. Oh and by the way I have forgotten more about this game then you will ever know. Don't stoop to calling names you look like a child.

Good Hard fought Win against a Gritty Baylor team. IMHO the difference in the game was UConn was only call for Three Fouls in the 2nd half after having 12 in 1st half.

You don't have a clue.

Baylor played tough.

I thought Sims seemed to be looking to get fouled maybe more than making the shots. She's good, but I expected more.

Will be interesting to see if Geno says anything about the officiating in his presser. He can afford the fine. :p

OMG - Sims took some of the worst, unforced shots I've ever seen. Her Baylor teammates kept them in the game. Baylor's supporting cast deserves a lot of credit.

How sweet it is to have defeated the refs and Baylor's acting job. Way to go Uconn!

Yes, and unfortunately it forced UCONN to be far too passive at times on the boards and otherwise.

At least the officiating wasn't a factor in the second half. Except on Sims. Of course several UConn players were forced to play at 2/3 because the refs took them out of the game in the first half.

Come on, man. How are you defining meaningful? Yeah she has always come off the bench, but to say she's had no meaningful minutes is a big exaggeration IMO. She's delivered in a number of games against top 5 opponents. Mostly on defense, blocks and rebounds, but very important contributions nonetheless. POG-level contributions on more than one occasion.

Mo is the difference maker in this game IMHO, which is a consistent theme and will continue to be as the season progresses. Kiah was also huge in a her own quiet way!
Hartley hit some big shots, too. Bria did have some "duh" moments, but overall, up to the task..

For sure if his current contract has the incentives that the next one does. He wins out NC next year the incentives = $900,000.

Because there were fewer calls doesn't mean it didn't have an impact.
