Why do we waste time with a time out and a final play? Come on Geno just let the kids play, they would have scored there.
 
52 - 24 at the half.

UCONN basketball at its best.
 
Uconn doesn't not do a very good job in half court in end of half plays. I watched Geno call timeouts this season at the end of 1st half and it seems the ladies fail to score.
 
Well. It still was a good time out call by coach. Up 28. We just got confused out there. :cool:

To set up something that they might potentially have to run at the end of a tight game. The team is not great in those situations, mainly because they aren't in them very often. It's something Geno does a lot to see if they can run something and score with a few second left on the clock, in case they need that down the road. Hopefully they won't :)
 
Texas look beat from the 8 minute time out till half time.their big girls look like they get tired quickly.
 
Here's the thing, Texas is a pretty darn good team and UConn is making them look like the JV squad. It's impressive...and just a little scary.

I think it only "Seems" that way because it just happened today. Traditionally (including this year) that is a very successful timeout for Geno.
 
I guess Nneka Enempkali is not tweeting because of the score :)
 
Texas is an up and coming team, decimated by injuries. Feeling good about adding them to our schedule. Someone should have told Doris Burke that we are playing them in the future.
 
Only three Texas losses were by double digits (11 to Oklahoma, 17 to Baylor, 11 to Baylor). Might be able to add those numbers together for the final difference today. And then some.
 
If Geno's smile on that timeout were an emoticon, it would look like...:p.
