This is a big win for this team. They have not been able to gut out a win in the final minutes this year or last, this is a good sign. Ugly game, but a good sign for the future that they won.

Winning a game with the problems and challenges that the team did today having to use completely different personnel and using them in abnormal ways could pay real dividends in the future.

Kelly & KML led the team to the victory. Kiah played a role as well. Sure would like to see her play up to her size and be more physical. Good Win, against a scrappy St John's team.

My guess is that players were sick.

We beat them by 30 in the BET last year, and we are supposedly improved and SJU looks weaker.

Glad that the coaching staff called up the zone to force St John's to shoot more outside shots. Just glad that they were missing those shots as well. Great call, CD, Coach, Shea, and Marisa.

KML just said on WTIC Postgame that she thought Banks was going to be OK. Not an authoratative source but at least she was on the bench with her. That's one bit of good news if accurate.

I'm not sure that can be said to be true. A lot of stuff was thrown at the team in 40 minutes. Stef scratched right at game time, Brianna goes out with a knee injury, St. John's hits their first 4 3s out of the box, people playing out of position and in odd groupings. It wasn't the game we expected in any way, shape or form. Sometimes that's just what happens and the test is what you do with it.

Remember she was compromised coming into the game because of some physical issues.
