The game from Lubbock Christian's perspective. http://www.kcbd.com/story/30419835/no1-connecticut-tops-lcu-in-exhibition-pay
I kept thinking...if these freshman don't start diving on or chasing after loose balls even when up by 50, they will need to learn to like playing the bench. I attribute some of the slowness or sluggishness due to shaking off the rust of playing in an actual game. I thought KLS settled down a bit in the second half when she started hitting a couple from long range. It's amazing when experience translates into confidence and the effect it has on an individuals plav. Kia and Gabby looked comfortable and confident and it was apparent in the way they played. Courtney still looked a little unsure, maybe because of all the lost time last year. I think it would do a world of good for her if she just hit a few threes. Where I really noticed the comfort level was how the experienced players were diving after loose balls, hustling quicker and more involved in the play than the less experienced players, especially the rookies.
