Were these on espn classic yesterday?
This was on during last year's Big East Tournament. Hoping when March rolls around, ESPN Classic will play some more BET games.

There a game that espn Classic showed a couple of years ago that I am hoping they show again. Uconn Pitt 1998 comeback

It's 22 minutes long, but definitely worth it, especially the Johnny Selvie dunk at the end.
There was so much drinking that night, and so much insanity when Taliek hit the three, I swear my friends and I had a debate the next day about whether there really had been a Selvie dunk to close it out.

Do you have the 2004 BET final vs Pitt by Any chance?

I was there as an 18 year old with my Dad, sitting next to an obnoxious Pitt fan, and I jumped up so quickly in excitement when Taliek buried that 30 footer that I knocked my Dad's glasses off. What a night.... easily one of the best UConn games I've attended.

I wonder if I can save the recording off of Comcast DVR and save it as a video I can watch on my computer. Does anyone know how or do I need a video capture card?

You need some sort of device to capture it off the dvr

This game was sick and Taliek's shot is one of the most memorable in UConn history. Speaking of the ending what the heck was Ben Gordon doing? He drives to the hoop and gets blocked when he should have pulled the ball out and run clock and then he fouls Pitt on the inbounds.

Sigh.

2002, 1998, and 1995 would have been Final Four years, maybe even more, had they been in ANY other bracket that year. 2002 and 1995 lost to the eventual National Champion in Championship level games. 1998 played the #1 team in their home state. All lost close games.

98 still kills me. We were either the best or second best 2-seed. Carolina was the overall No. 1, playing in their home state. No way going by the S-curve we should have been paired with them. I remember it explained as, well, UConn is in the east so this keeps them closer to home.
Like we wouldn't rather win in Albuquerque than play in (what amounted to) someone else's gym

i remember being in south watching this game.. when Taliek hit that 3, i could have sworn the floor was shaking.
good times..
