Game day thread

This is all about shot selection. And the selection has sucked so far. If they clean that up, we'll win by double digits. If not...ughh...
 
There is no set offense. KO is running this team like they are in the NBA. Its horrible to watch. I have yet to see him develop a single player into NBA material. Idk about anyone else but we are in too crappy of a conference to be slipping from relevancy like this. Something has to change. Recruits are taking notice of this.
 
I don't know what's worse: our offense or defense? Maybe our defense wouldn't look so bad if we didn't look so clueless on offense. We need to run plays for scores! Unfortunately, nobody can make a shot, we'd rather drive into traffic & turn the ball over or miss every wide open shot we manage to get. This team needs to press on defense. Make something out of nothing. Grrrr

Jalen is way too lackadaisical and his body does not look good for a lead guard. Rique moves very well but his perimeter shot is not good, and forces way too much. Vital not doing anything.

Kevin Ollie is to blame. Instead of Jalen being a lead guard, Alterique is handing the ball 75% of the time, and Adams doesn't know how to play off the ball. No one is ready to catch and shoot with confidence for an open 3 making everyone tentative drivers and shooters.

I don’t know if he does or doesn’t. The real point is NOW is not the time to find out. Total rally killer, thanks KO!

LOL Kevin Ollie should be fired at the end of this season.

Jalen Adams is lacking in leadership qualities and his body is terrible for a lead guard. Instead of playing like the lead guard, he is playing like a 3rd guard on the floor.

I warned about this. If Adams is not told to handle the rock 80-90% of the time at all times, this team will not be good with Rique being our lead guard for this year.

PS: Kevin Ollie holds no one accountable. He just claps his hands and talks to Killings about nothing.

I'm working tonight but just got to a computer. Larrier has freaking 4 points? "I'm going to the NBA" Larrier?
 
The last couple years really makes you appreciate Bazz & Boat, especially for how they could actually make a KO offense look efficient.
 
I don't think Kevin Ollie is the coach to lead this program. Lack of talent on the roster is squarely on him. The offense is terrible. I don't know what the point of our offense is. Not making NCAA tournament unless Adams and Larrier can play hero ball every night.
