Serah Williams is averaging 6.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists, .7 steals, and 1.4 blocks per game. In the first matchup, Cristen played 11 minutes. She had 4 points, 1 rebound, and 1 steal. - Brianna averages 8.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.0 assists, .6 steals, .8 blocks, and shoots .6 three-pointers per game. Sarah's stats are a bit on the guady side; she averages 19.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 3.2 steals, 1.6 blocks, and shoots 1.5 three-pointers per game. In game one, Brianna played 25 minutes. She had 8 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist. Sarah played 31 minutes and had 25 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals, 1 block, and shot 3-7 from three-point land. ADVANTAGE - UCONN

KK played 23 minutes, and she had zero points (she only took 3 shots in the game), 2 assists, and 3 steals. I would expect to see both ladies playing closer to their averages in this game.
ADVANTAGE - UCONN

BENCH:

Georgetown will bring essentially 4 players off the bench: Khia Miller (28.7 minutes); Khadee Hession (20.9 minutes); Brianna Byars (21.4 minutes); and Chetanna Nneke (17.9 minutes). Their bench averages 23.5 points, 12.4 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 4.3 steals, 1.3 blocks, and 1.7 three-pointers

UConn will bring in from the bench 35.7 points, 16.1 rebounds, 9.0 assists, 5.5 steals, 1.7 blocks, and 3.2 three-pointers.
ADVANTAGE - UCONN

COACHING:

UConn's coaching staff is the best in the business. They know how to get the job done, and they will again in this case.
ADVANTAGE - UCONN

INTANGIBLES:

UConn is essentially playing at home at the "XL Center"; they are on their way to an undefeated regular season. They have the momentum, they have too much talent, experience, and championship mentality for Georgetown. Players are rounding into postseason shape. Geno is preparing them to go deep into the NCAAs and possibly #13. Georgetown probably will not have a postseason beyond the Big East Tournament.
ADVANTAGE - UCONN

SCORE:

UCONN - 95
GEORGETOWN - 48

MOV - 47

Thanks again Sensei! G’Town plays an aggressive handsy style, which makes them a good test of our offense, even though their offense isn’t much of a threat.

This game should be over early. I expect the same A level defensive effort that we saw on Sunday, plus improved shooting.

Georgetown was down 51-20 at the half the first game, and had 28 turnovers for the game. I think we are looking at 30+ in that department on Thursday. The third quarter of that game was weird, 9-8 Huskies, hope we don't see a repeat of that.

Geno noted in his interview today that his team is healthier, and that spells bad news for the Hoyas.

Georgetown came into the last game at 11-7 and now they are 13-14. They have lost six out of seven and have scored between 52 and 62 points in those games. That won't cut it against UConn, whose season low is 71 and has only been below 79 twice.

No one is averaging double figures, so UConn doesn't need to focus on anyone in particular. They do play a lot of players, with nine active players averaging at least 15.6 minutes per game.

Playing UConn can be intimidating, and the crowd size may be a factor in that regard as well. In their last four road games, they have played in front of between 868 and 1651 fans. The last four home games have drawn between 237 and 943. This will be a different experience.

This game is what I call a stats game. a game to add numbers to your stat sheet I am hoping for a record 3 point game of 21 by our top 4-- 3 point shooters , Azzi, Allie, Sarah and Ashlynn. Defense to me is a given, we are the best.I would like to see Caroline get some meaningful minutes and Ayanna also. Since 2001 to now 2026 ,Win No, 30 for the 23rd time, a major record. Uconn is in it's March Madness zone and we are ready. GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!

The Hoyas previous game loss at home to Butler was a nail to the coffin of the season for them. Their hopes of reaching .500 for the season and thus keep alive any chance of playing in a post-season tournament are almost non-existent. Basically boiling down to them having to win the BET.

I wouldn't be surprised if they come into tonight's game somewhat demoralized and without a lot of fight against the #1 team in front of a monster crowd in Hartford. I hope they don't give up and will be keying on which Georgetown players fight til the end.

I expect the Huskies to win every quarter, and think the MOV will be high.
