Gabby Williams Update...good news..

Two tweets from Gabby Williams indicate rehab is still progressing well....she tweeted she was "able to grab rim off my right leg for first time in 8 months"..... Also, when asked if she had been "cleared", she said "no, at least another month." Sounds like knee is coming around....

FYI, I only know this because my college age daughter, who is the queen of social media, "follows" certain UConn players and prospects on Twitter, Vine and all that other stuff.... she keeps me posted and I give her a new I-phone every two years...

In watching a few of her highlight videos, it's clear that she is good with her left hand and often takes it to the rim left-handed, jumping off the right leg. VERY impressive (to me) that at 5'11" she is able to grab the rim already jumping off the bad knee. Of course, for most WCBB players under 6'0", it's big news to be able to grab the rim at all! This girl is a special athlete.

I also re-watched a video of her doing high jump. You know who her physique reminds me of? Dennis Rodman. Same legs, same body structure. Not surprising, then, that she would be a great leaper.

VA....agree 100%...at her size (maybe still growing) and leaping ability, Gabby is like getting a 6'3" wing...Rodman like body..!! We will take it..!!Go Huskies..!!

Woah. from 2012 msf - a video of her either at the end of her sophomore, or beginning of her junior, year. great handle, can lay the ball up with both hands, great defender - holy cow. I know you can't tell much from a mix tape, but usually i watch a high school tape and realize how slow they look compared to the Huskies. She looks like she could be on the team right now...

Good to see Gabby is progressing well and getting stronger , if jumping high enough to grab the rim is any indication. I hope she continues whatever re-hab program she is following because it appears to be working.
