Love the win, but QB play continues to be poor. Less than 100 yards passing, what are we Army. And the defense, which was stellar last week, gave up way too many chunk plays. Again, glad we won, but the score line should NOT have been this close.

Love the victory especially for the seniors who get end their last home game with a positive note. Kudos to the RBs and the Oline, especially Mel Brown, Cam Edwards, and Chase Lundt (kept running to his side).

A big wet willie goes to the DB who dropped that easy interception. That is a flat out loser play that has marked UConn Football for the last 14 seasons. If he makes that simple play that game ends with a lot less stress and suspense.

Love the victory, hate the lack of close out sans the Edwards run on 4th and 2 which was great.

I honestly thought that Georgia state recovered the ball (they were first one to the ball). Bechtle (#46 I think) got there afterwards and wanted the ball more. It was his senior night too, what better way to have a final memory at the Rent.

i so hope bowl eligibility soon becomes just another game. getting back to football relevance is a marathon for a program like UConn, just because of where we were as a program and where we are in the conference stuff. But a 6 win floor is a new place for me as a fan. It's not time yet, but I am looking forward to one day soon seeing a 10-win UConn football team.

It’s a great win because it’s a win. We’re (probably) going bowling but let’s print at least 2 more Ws, give Syracuse a fight (and maybe steal that one?)

It definitely had an effect on the game. Ga State was one onside kick recovery from having the ball and trying to score the game tying TD on a tired defense. In fact they were very close to recovering that onside kick and I am convinced the UConn player took the ball away from him on the ground so much credit to that player who did that. I am glad UConn got the victory and will go to a bowl game as that is a big stepping stone for this program, but that game was far more suspenseful then it had to be.
