Futures Bets

Lmao obviously I wouldn’t be hedging if I only had that much on the line… I got 500 to win 16,500.
if you lose 500, who cares? if you win 16500, who cares? your life will be the same...but if you hedge, you'll be a coward...I've won more than 16,500 in one night...my life didn't change one bit....some people care about the money though

How many of you scared money cowards hedged? I don’t expect any truthful answers. I didn’t hedge $1. Ship it.

No hedge. If I could have at half time, I probably would have but CT laws and all that…

I already posted on another thread, but my post is missing. Maybe because board broke around that time. Part of my individual mojo responsibility was to not talk to anyone about it or post about it, but now I finally can. And no hedging.

Also maybe worth mentioning I'm 40 and had never bet on sports before

I have the following parlay:

Argentina (World Cup)
Georgia (NCAAF)
KC Chiefs (NFL)
UConn men
Boston Celtics

$25 bet @ +107,519 = $26,904.91
Now that UConn has won, I have a cashout appearing for the first time. It's $4,609.98. I imagine that will go up if the Celtics win a playoff series or two.

4 of us so far on TEAM NO HEDGE. Shout out to the diamond hands. My buddy had the same bet as me as well. He held on for dear life too.

Bet them 5 different times in November. No hedges and laid points in the first 3 games.

Here's an idea:

Nothing wrong with a good hedge. Like options in the stock market protect yourself on the downside.

Anyone sitting on a big future wager? I didn't jump on before the season started and shame on me. I guess we were as high as 125-1! I have been getting action down since we started 5-0, and have tickets for 33-1, 25-1, and now 10-1. Total risked so far is $165 to win $3090. Let's goooooo! Would love to not be doomed.

I had a $100 that paid $3,100. I hedged $1,000 and took the 7.5 points on SDSU. Could have won both if UConn won by 1-7.

Best $4,000
Actual $2,000
Worst $990

Done!

No hedging I got burned a couple of times on parlays where I could have cashed out and lost it on the last leg but with the UConn bet I was never tempted.

I almost made that bet but by the time I hedged and hawed it was down to +3000 on Nov 28

A small one I made literally the minute the 2022 title game ended.

Did not talk about it until Saturday night after we won the Final Four game. Just one of the many crazy mojo things I’ve been doing in recent weeks.

One of my friends had $200 on +7500 and just won $15k. No hedging for either of us (not like mine was really large enough to hedge, but I thought maybe my friend should’ve).

Congrats to everyone!!!
