Future Homecoming games

CW got hers with trips to Memphis and Arkansas.
Liv with GaTech & Evina with Oregon this year

Sorry, don't think Dorka or Nika will get one.

Piath, Ducharme, Aubrey, Mir, Saylor, and Azzi all live close enough to UConn or a BE opponent that they wont need one

That leaves Paige, Aaliyah, and DeBerry.

Though hopefully Paige gets hers next April. (Plus does anyone in the Bueckers family still live in MN?)
Aaliyah could be tough. For Nurse, UConn was able to sked a game with another school that a had a Toronto-area player. But AE is from 3 hours away from Toronto so less likely that would work.

Paige lives in Maryland, so she won't need one, and Amari lives in the next state over from UConn, but we could probably schedule a game at SUNY Buffalo or something like that.

I wouldn't be surprised if they still have a homecoming game probably against Lindsey Whalen and the golden gophers. Paige lived her whole life in Minnesota, that's her real home. She can play in front of all her friends and fans In Minnesota. Of course, we are all hoping she technically gets that homecoming experience this year at the Final Four in Minneapolis.

I had to look up Toronto on a map. It seems the closest "semi-large" city is Buffalo. Canasius and U of Buffalo are both located in that city so maybe it's "close enough" for the Home/Home for Liya?

AE is from Kingston which is not near Buffalo. It's not near much at all -- basically to the northwest of the Adirondacks.

Georgetown in DC would be a natural since Fairfax is 30 min Serah Williams of DC and her St John's College High School is 30 min N of DC. Three years of BE WBB would set her up for her final 4th appearance in front of her "hometown/high school" family/friends/fans.

Her HS is in DC. Maybe you meant 30 min north of downtown /north of Gtown? And prob more like 20 mins.

I would say its more of the schools that recruit nationwide that do this. Duke has done it for years.... gone to play schools like Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, Old Dominion, Cal, Long Beach State, Pepperdine, Marquette (For Tricia Liston even though she was from the Chicago area). Although in Duke's cases, a few of those took place for both Seniors and underclassmen who were from the same general area. TAMU for a senior Lambert and Sophomore Williams. Long Beach State for a Senior Kendall Cooper and freshman Leonna Odom.

Aren't we going to be due for a Europe pre season trip next year? We did Italy about 3 years ago. that could take care of Dorka and Nika in one great trip.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Get in an Italy trip and play a game in Venice.

The Gtown game will be fine for Azzi. Her highschool is not far from Gtown and her mom attended school there. They live in the VA suburban sprawl which is all close enough so no need for a special schedule. Plus, believe me the Azzi clan will be at every game almost. They travel...

UConn is allowed to have a European trip every four summers. Nika may get one, but Dorka would have to stay for two years to reap that benefit.
