All schools, with the possible exception of Stanford lose transfers. The difference between UConn and MD is that UConn’s transfers are almost always players that were not part of the regular rotation and were unlikely to see significant PT in the future. MD, on the other hand, has lost 5-10? front line players over the past few years.Speaking of revolving door... have you seen the list of transfers from Geno's family atmosphere? The transfers are so numerous that we're not even having a senior day next year when we should be honoring four graduating players.
I have no problem with kids transferring in search of PT. But when you have top 10 players/starters like Brown, Slocum & Austin transferring continuously that is a sign of an underlying lack of communication and disfunction within a program.
