FSU relegation

Is there another team like Wake, a private school with top academics and superior football, that would be a replacement for FSU?

I see where you're going with this, but I don't think SMU and Tulane would be considered "superior football," yet.

Hey Z, maybe take your ongoing trolling of FSU over to the FSU board where it can be more fully appreciated?

It just has to be incremental improvement over FSU, so I think both of your candidates have merit

FSU, at it's worst since I sat in the stands when they went 0-11 48 years ago...is still a brand....and has more top end
than Wake Forest, Tulane, etc.

And I understand Zissou is gigging.....

But FSU will improve...just as they did from 0-11....But I do remember that bleak season...it was sooo bad that we partied with our seat neighbors and hardly watched the game...

The difference with FSU, is a loss is noticed...when a Villanova loses to Stony Brook, or when Tulane is blown out by 40 like on Saturday, no one notices.

Yep...Stetson beat the hell out of Ave Maria and Warner...and so would many Florida high schools.

Ave Maria is a small Catholic school of about 1,000...
 
It did make me smile to see them celebrating that big win against Syracuse. Beat case UCF passes them as the top team left in FL.. the Acc falls apart and FSU is left behind. Then they can forever be in an Acc full of northern teams and basketball schools. Talking about the bowden days of the 90s.

Jax State is not in Florida...It is in Jacksonville, Alabama...I guess you are thinking of Jacksonville University...
 
FSU rolling over preseason top 15 UNC.
Unlikely to make a bowl game but at least a minor pulse.
