I was watching the pregame last night and I think Casey Jacobsen said the last 12? NCAA champs were ranked in the top 12 in the polls in week 6. We are comfortably in side that number but he mentioned there were some quality teams out side of it. Did anyone who watched the pregame remember it?

True - But by the end of the regular season, both of those UConn teams were ranked in the low 20's.

Pretty sure he said Duke and UCLA were outside of the top 12.

And that was before Duke lost yesterday too. I don't see any teams outside the current Top 10 winning it all this season. There is a big drop off after the Top 10. Lots of mediocrity.

You could have told us this in 2016. Instead of turkey with ketchup, a diet of liver, asparagus, oysters and mountain dew would have done the trick.
