Received an email today from UConn Alumni with the details on the trip to Belfast for the men's hockey tournament over Thanksgiving week. Anybody else get this? Anyone planning on going?? Just curious.

i might look into this....my girlfriend is from Dublin. I have been to Ireland but not Northern Ireland, and this sounds like a good excuse to go.

It's pretty reasonable. 1499 pp double occupancy 1999 single. Plus airfare. I've been to Ireland twice but not Northern Ireland either. Couple days in Dublin then the rest in Belfast.

Belfast isn't too enticing, but there's UConn hockey, Thanksgiving, Guinness, and a few days in Dublin, and likely flexibility to tack on a few days+. Here's the tour group's package deal for UConn: UCONN Huskies Ireland 2018 | Cara Group Travel

Yeah my gf said Belfast is pretty and despite what one may think, its still has a lot of hostility between catholics and protestants. Dublin and most of Ireland on the other hand is def worth the trip, especially if you catch the weather right.

BU w/ PP goal after back-to-back PP. Tied @ 1 (second on cheap goalie interference call on Freeman).

We are being worn down. We may get another goal but the dam looks like it is about to break. A fierce effort but you can see the difference in talent. An entertaining and hard hitting game.
