Friday March Madness Games

That box out foul just now, at 12 minutes of the second half, is the weakest call I've seen in a very long time. And it came at the perfect moment. 49-42 Oral Roberts, defensive rebound, about to go up big, and suddenly, the ball goes to OSU, potential 3 point play, and maybe down to a 4 pt lead.

That was a 5 point swing.

Oral Robert’s taking it to OSU Except the officials decided enough was enough and stepped in just now and made three incredibly bad calls against oral Roberts

Anyone who thought Colgate had a chance was an idiot. The calls were going Colgate’s way I’d say until about 10 min to go.

You are wrong about the calls. Arkansas got every call the whole game.

Unless the player boxing out throws an elbow, it is impossible to foul while boxing out. That is a terrible call.

Does anyone think Oral Roberts will win this? Last chance to say "I told you so".

I could take 4 posters out of this thread and beat Oral Roberts if I was getting this much help from the refs.

I hope so. Lots of 1 seeds seem to sleep walk through the first half and then figure out they better start treating it like a real game. Let's see how long it takes them to wake. Hopefully this will be one of the rare times they don't and Hartford stays in it.
They certainly got that out of their system after the bad start.

They aren’t going away, playing tough.

No crowd definitely makes these big upsets a little tougher. OSU doesn’t quite look as tight as I’d imagine they’d be with an arena getting rowdy for Oral Roberts

Hopefully Oral Roberts can finish this one off. A loss would be a tough one to swallow.

I'd have to see the replay but looked awfully close to a goaltend on that blocked layup

End of regulation Ohio St / Oral Roberts . . . can't anybody hit a step back jumper anymore? Geesh! Kemba made it look so simple!

Made it look so easy everyone else thinks they can hit a stepback jumper instead of taking a good shot

i think part of the problem is that everybody in the james harden era takes the step-back from three! kemba had (and still has) the midrange on lock.
