Francesa gonna Francesa. last minute of this clip is chef’s kiss.
Mike and the Mad dog were good back in the day but Mike has always been a little irritating.
Craig Carton is back on the air. He's got a point about the cell phones
Francesa’s best moments were on CBS more than thirty years ago when he got many March Madness picks correct. It was downhill from there although I used to listen on WFAN before his two retirements.I listened to Francesa (and Dog when they were together) religiously during his entire FAN career. Haven’t gotten into the podcast. He likes to pretend he knows what he’s talking about when it comes to college sports, but he legitimately has no idea.
He’s Noo Yawk. What else do you need to know?He needs to give up the mic and join an anonymous yankees message board already
I scaled back because of the hours of SF Giants chatter. Like who gives a ___ about the Giants.I used to listen to them every day too. They started to lose me when they devoted hours to quizzing each other about Nielsen ratings of random games in all sports.
Also, their focus on horse racing and boxing. Appealed to maybe 2% of the listening audience.
Caught some of the pregame show on NBCSN and one of the guys mentioned Hurley told him he had a few tricks up his sleeve.Didn't listen to much but did hear him say how UConn was switching like they haven't all year.
I repeat ask - has Hurley held out on stuff intentionally? Between the switching, shutting down the high hedge, running transition - they were doing things in this game that we really haven't seen all year. Kudos to him if he's that good a coach he can run vanilla stuff for the bulk of the year to only flip on a dime in game 28.
I think you should pretty much take his word as gospel because he never misses. I mean this guy correctly predicted Uconn would become irrelevant post Calhoun. Oh wait, never mind. 🙄Vintage
He says we are a 3 seed, and may have played ourselves into a 2 seed if we keep winning. But reiterates that we are a 3. Then says we have no shot at a 1.
And he says it with conviction, like don't even doubt him.
Hurley is uber-competitive so I don't think he would intentionally withhold anything earlier in the season. These seasons are too short for that. I read this morning that Kimani was the assistant that had the scout for this game. I would suspect that this was a change from the first game.
I wonder who the scout was for the first gameAgreed, plus Hurley is known for adding things later in the season to cover flaws, or just change things up.
ChiefI wonder who the scout was for the first game
Dude doesn’t know college basketball if he thinks we aren’t worthy of a 1.Vintage

Matt Norlander's column this morning reported Kimani had the scout.Where do you find who had the scout for an upcoming game? Is it possible to see who had the scout responsibilities on the past games this year?
The thing about the NCAA is that we have the best scouting and game planning. All that’s needed is maximum effort, especially from Tarris.Matt Norlander's column this morning reported Kimani had the scout.
Haaaaa. 100% on NY radio none the less.I scaled back because of the hours of SF Giants chatter. Like who gives a ___ about the Giants.
