Thats what worked for me here in NH, but I did use a friends zip code in CT
 
I assume it might be a general issue and not specific to SNY since the only live streams right now are what’s on FS1 and FS2

This is scary. Does the merger of ESPN and Fox Sports mean no more live streams. I hope that's not the reason.
 
Just got this from a tech chat with FoxSports..
  • Due to some recent changes the game will not be available through FOX Sports app. Please accept my sincerest apologies. As per checking, the Uconn vs Xavier will be available at SNY. I was looking in our website and it seems, that is not available. I apologize for the inconvenience.

  • Based on the information that FOX Sports send us a couple of minutes ago is that the match will be hosted on SNY.
 
Does the tech chat with Fox Sports mean that all future UConn games will not be on the Fox Sports app or just this one?

I fear it won't be long before you have to buy the ESPN-FOX sports package.
 
UConn athletics needs to dump SNY and partner with ESPN where 99% of all other WBB games are made available.

In recent weeks, FoxSports has stopped making "replays" of the UConn ladies games available also....
 
Saw the last 2 1/2 minutes on my phone when it suddenly became available???

Probably not. I did a quick check to see if CPTV streamed anything anywhere, and learned that we're out of the 'PBS Panhandle viewing area' (which is in Amarillo TX, go figure). Seems as though streaming is not yet an exact science for PBS. But I'm not convinced Fox has it down either, after the last two conference games.

SNY actually pays them, and broadcasts the games for them.
 
Listening to the game wasn't too bad. The announcers were pretty good.

Somehow I got the game on my firestick…possibly thru cbs sports and also received the post game all on SNY. It may be that my NY plan, Optimum, is active & I got it from their TV Everywhere app….I had to play around and missed most of 1st half. All SNY programming came in. I am in Florida.
 
I'll say it again. The program needs and deserves a better outlet than SNY.
I read it here sometime ago that UConn was having discussions with Channel 3. Did I dream it?

The solution is to have Fox Sports have national rights to all UCONN WBB Games, so that more fans can have access to watch the team, vs. remaining with a Small Regional Network such as SNY. All this is doing is hurting the fans.
 
Sounds to me like Fox Sports took responsibility for the technical problem, apologized, is working to correct the problem and made the replay available. No sure what else they could do?
