Fort Hays St @ Connecticut - GAME THREAD

3 minutes into the second quarter my feed the bed and it has stayed that way. These guys at CBS sports just plain suck at this year in and year out. hah, the half time musical basketball is flawless video.

Enough is enough........

All I will say is that it's a good thing this disgrace of a feed was free. 3 different machines and nothing but freeze after freeze. Complete unwatchable. If I had paid for this joke, I'd be on a mission to get a refund even if I had to drive to Storrs and spend $25 in gas to get $10 back.

A dreary 1st half. So many missed shots. But reasonable offensive flow and everyone hustled on D. Happy to see that of Z. Totally bought in. Doesn’t tell us anything about player rotation.

About what I expected. Rough around the edges but the motion offense and switching defense is there. Once they start making layups things should be just fine.

Watch Molly and Kyla on offense. It seems every time they get the ball, they can't wait to get rid of it. They never look for a shot. I don't understand how they expect to get playing time that way....

If you asked Geno about the rotation, he would probably say ask me again in December and I'll get back to you in January. ;)

I think we are seeing flashes of the rotation. The starting 5 as a lot of people predicted. Then in comes AS to give Gabby a rest. Next up Irwin/Walker for KLS or Collier.

Seems to be a much improved Crystal; super Pheesa; Walker & Z impress; Kyla & Molly much more confident. And everyone playing defense. I'll take it so far. Dreary perhaps, but lots to build on.

The new kid in action. Well... one of them. :D

This may be redundant but I missed the first five minutes of the live video streaming because at 7:02 I still had a black screen so I proceeded to try to subscribe and login but I made a mistake in filling out the stupid form and just went back to the live video streaming page and there was the game. However in the middle of my picture on my TV there is that circling "content loading/refreshing/buffering" thingy, made up of circles, not an arrow, that is constantly there. Could be my TV or internet provider though.
BUT, I am so glad that I can actually see the game live and there is no actual buffering going on.

Just a couple things to point out. I’m sure the Huskies didn’t have a morning shoot around or a game plan. That plus the fact that they are practicing hard right now shows me they have tired legs and they’re a bit sloppy.

All will be well by Nov 12.

I will be interested to see of our girl LEXI get into game action. She barely played overseas, not sure how she's going in practice since but it would be nice if she got some run.

that there was a pretty ugly first half of basketball............pretty much what I expected..........looking for a good seven minute stretch starting the second half and perhaps then we'll see all four freshman on the floor at the same time

It's an exhibition game. As much as I'd like to see the score be 80-10 at this point, Geno is mixing and matching, seeing who works well with others, who needs to work on what, etc etc. Clearly we are a better team with the Core 6. After that, there is a fair amount of work to do for the remaining players...

Still, great to see them in action and great to see the newbies getting some scratch!

1. CD and Z can have a perfect play together
2. Megan is so good.
3. Molly and Kyle are better than last year, but they need to score not to pass.

don't forget about Camara......I think she'll eventually be the first forward off the bench after AZ
