Not one of them left to make basketball better. They left because of football. How has not leaving worked out for us in football?
The ACC is at a cross roads right now with Roy gone, and now Coach K leaving. I don’t know how much longer Boeheim will stick this out as hes the only HOF coach that will be left in the league provided he comes back next season.

But some of them can sell recruits on the chance to lose to Duke each year, so there’s that.

Including USF is good for the lols. But including BCU would have been better.

Current basketball rankings aside, which of the former BE schools is doing worse than us financially? Is the idea here to brag the first time we break into the top 25 or is it to create an AD that is successful both on the court and financially? Nova and Zaga thrive based on coaching and continuity, otherwise the trend is P5 or fall off.

Cuse, Louisville and Pitt lead the way to the bottom, the biggest swings

Cinci & Pitt ran enough winning coaches out of town to finally achieve the status of nobody

The leader of the pack, Miami and Donna She-Lie-La, $ucks at everything. No more football or baseball championships, karma is a b!tch

RU still $ucks, always has $ucked, butt at least they have more money while $ucking

What's going on at Cuse is all about family. Jim's kids can shoot when they have space, but that strong zone and interior play are nowhere to be found. Long Beach St East they are

To the fans, it's about winning. We wouldn't trade rings for athletic department dollars EVER

So when one argues we're getting more money, I smile politely and chuckle to myself. Who cares outside of politicians and bureaucrats? Certainly not "we the people"

Syracuse has had one winning season in football in the past eight years. Yeah, our football hasn’t been good, but has moving to the ACC helped them at anything?

They made a final 4 and an elite 8. That’s pretty good

They can have fun hanging FF and E8 banners with 2 lucky runs (one of which they literally didn't even deserve to be in the tournament). Since they left the Big East, we won a National Championship so who cares.

It's really more about bad coaching than the conference IMO. It's not like the ACC is a bad basketball conference intentionally doing damage to these schools. Syracuse was in the final four just a few years ago. Georgetown and St Johns are in the Big East too and have been bad for a long time. Butler joins the Big East and suddenly sucks. Houston joins the the AAC and it launches their program back to elite status because they found a great coach.

It's the coaching and it really makes clear how lucky we are to have Hurley.
