In another decade, we’ll be squabbling over where Paige and Sarah belong on that list. We are truly a lucky fan base to have been able to watch these womenActually, one can make a very good argument for any of the 3 to be #1. And none of them would be wrong.
I can pretend that’s what I meant, but I honestly depended on my memory instead of looking it up online. 😏. Thanks for the gentle correction.Williams and Cash were on D’s first championship team so maybe you meant her last 2 championships
Lost some respect for Reeve after seeing that. Bird was right. As per this ESPN article, the documentary peels back the curtain on parts of DT's life, warts and all...
Taurasi opens up on being benched for Olympic gold medal game in new documentary
To each his own.Sounds like you don't understand how anyone could possibly have a different opinion than yours. There are actually many.
Nice job of moving the goalposts. To each his own.
For me the "goat" is not just about basketball skills. It's about character too.
That's why I would choose Stewart and Maya 1 and 2.
Yes that documentary was very good but I was actually stunned by the language. There would be no way that my wife would allow our kids to watch something like that.
My wife and myself watched this documentary together and she commented several times to me about the number of F-bombs.
Not once ever did I ever hear Maya use verbiage like that and I never saw her trash talk her opponents. Never saw Stewie do that either.
But I am entitled to my own opinions. Maybe if you had young girls who watch/idolize these players you would understand a parents point of view.
Let me ask you something right here.Nice job of moving the goalposts.
I'm not interested in your role model rant.Let me ask you something right here.
What did you think of the very opening scene when Diana arrived at her hotel in CT. (I assume it was CT)
When she said "do you wanna film me taking a ....." I Won't repeat the word. My wife had to rewind it 3 times to see if she actually heard what she heard.
If you think that is appropriate or G-Rated content for an 8 and 10 year old then we have a difference of opinion big time.
Personally it doesn't really offend me because I could care less.
But it's the kids who look up and follow these players. It's the kids who imitate these players. That is an issue.
And you never met my wife. (She is an Attorney btw)
Like I have said a million times, Maya (an excellent role model) did not talk or act like this.
But it is you who is offended by my opinion on this matter. I have said enough about this already so I am not gonna drag this on.
