For those that have prime - taurasi

Mark your calendars.

UConn, Phoenix and more love DT and know she is not one to hold back her opinions. As the WNBA's all-time leading scorer as well as most career three-pointers over a career spanning 20 seasons, she embodies everything associated with being a GOAT because she has certainly lived it. Her observations on playing at the highest level in college, the Olympics and WNBA will definitely be worthwhile viewing.

According to IMDb, a 3 episode series, with all episodes available on August 7th.
From the IMDb app: "Taurasi's path to success combined fierce competitiveness with loyalty to team and family. Her bold style and unapologetic nature faced scrutiny as she played globally, including Russia and Turkey."

Comes out tomorrow. And if you can stay up late, I know many on here cannot, you could watch it after midnight, tonight.

But she could be if she wanted
Yeah, but everyone seems to love her, so let's just play that out for a while. Why would she want the Caitlin Clark treatment for being an a...h...e?

Just watched it. Very good documentary and there were definitely a lot of things discussed about Diana that I didn't know about...I actually never knew she had an older sister.

Very interesting stuff about that Russian basketball team owner too.

Since I graduated in her class, this brought back a lot of memories for myself. Especially how it was with the 3 championships.

Personally, I always liked Dee but she was never my favorite player for some reason... I will say she is definitely one of the most honest athletes that I have ever seen.. So I give her a ton of respect for that.. Very well done on her part.

As far as the "goat" goes I still have to rank her third all time.

1. Stewart (not sure who/why anyone can argue this one)
2. Maya
3. Diana

But this is NOT the ranking of just Uconn players, this is my personal ranking of all-time players.

So the bottom line is that the 3 greatest players of all time happen to all be Uconn Huskies....

So being third is incredible.

Well done documentary.

Just my thoughts.

If you're raking all-time players #1 has to be DT. No one is more accomplished than her. Stewies 4 NCs are great and will only be surpassed in a highly unusual circumstance, but the rest of her resume doesn't come close to DT, not yet anyway.

Agreed. I love me some Maya, but Ds last 2 championships are what u think makes her goat. I do t know if any other player could win those 2 ships with that team, especially the last one

I think Taylor was the best player left off the W25 list, hearing their son talk about having 2 mums and one being famous.

Sounds like you don't understand how anyone could possibly have a different opinion than yours. There are actually many.

I loved it. They did a great job making this.
I loved it as well. She is definitely extremely close to her family. I was a little surprised at how upset that her mother was at Geno because she went to UConn. Obviously all has been forgiven because it certainly worked out for her. She never would’ve gotten the publicity at UCLA or USC.
Sue Bird’s commentary was also excellent. She pointed out something that was obvious to those of us that followed her career closely. She made everyone around her better. The teams that she took to those three national championships weren’t of the caliber of say teams that Tamika Williams, Swin Cash, Breanna Stewart etc. were on. Taurasi I think took the pressure off of everyone else on her team so they could just play. Truly, a special player and special person.

This documentary should be a "must watch" for every "Clark stan" so they can learn what true greatness (and longevity) looks like.

I just finished watching all three parts. It's a great documentary about a unique person. Whether Dee is the greatest or only the third greatest of all time hardly matters. The documentary captures the swagger, the skill and the personality of an all-time UConn great. Geno thinks she's the greatest to play at UConn. That's good enough for me.

I watched the first two episodes last night and I thought it was really good. Dee answers all the tough questions, with much of it pretty funny. I especially loved showing her time in Russia, her beloved boss being a huge underworld figure who treated the team like his own daughters, but the players didn't question what he did. The only think they knew was that he treated them like gold, giving them everything they wanted, and more. Every WBB fan should watch this.

Williams and Cash were on D’s first championship team so maybe you meant her last 2 championships
