ahh ok. i didn't realize you were talking not this thread. when i was going thru all the different options we had if bazz or wolf or both didn't come back i mentioned allen. the reason i mentioned him was we could award him a ship for the 2013-14 year, his jr year. that would eat one of the ships we had available but then allow us to drop him back to a walkon his sr year and then take that ship and fill it in 2014 with a recruit. my worry back then was not having enough ships in the 2014 class to truly reload if u will term wise. there is a rule with awarding walkons multiple years in a row of scholar ships i believ i was trying to confirm or understand which played into this also possibly having to allow him to keep it his sr year but i forget it all now.

if you look at this. my worry was before bazz got hurt he was gone, wolf legally we were not sure about and purvis was not in fold yet. if we dont land purvis transfer wise and wolf and bazz do leave then 11-13 need to be filled. but whats worse then finding a transfer, another 13 recruit or a grad kid like evans again was it could mess up our potential great 2014 class that KO had invested a lot of time with on the trail. so i was trying to explore all possible outcomes to see how we were going to get thru this. the purvis transfer no one knew about until it was already a done deal basically. it was a serious game changer roster wise. very happy about it as i think we all are. we are going to have 4 sr's so 4 slots to fill in 2014 class wise. if the bazz and wolf stuffed happened and we filled those ships this year, we would only have 2 ships to fill. big differnece, especially when your packaging certain kids. i am very happy with how things turned out, but i was way more worried than most it seems. carry on with my rip fest...

Actually it's when they started advertising it as "Arabica."

Arabica is 75-80% of the coffee produced in the world. You might as well have advertised that it was sold in cups and made with water.

Is this true? I'm heartbroken. Most of my fellow New Englanders living in Starbucks land, dream of the day when DD comes out here. I love those DD t-shirts that say "Friends don't let friends drink Starbucks"

I've never seen a DD in San Diego. Do they actually exist out in CA?

On edit - I looked it up and for me, there's one located in Camp Pendleton - I'm guessing only military folks can get to it, not that I like DD enough to go see...

Just a joke in that they have failed twice already in California. Californians have shown little interest and yet they keep coming back. Just announced they'd like 30+ stores by 2015 in SoCal.

I hope they catch on, they are missed living out here and growing up in CT.
 
Um, 3/4 of the state of RI has checked in on wolfs status today post news. Interesting. He must be sought after more then i thought.

Could not agree more. DD has really gone downhill. I used to love their doughnuts but can barely choke them down now.

It's really bad. I grew up on DD, and in the last few years I can't choke down the coffee. Starbucks coffee is much better. There's not a chemical aftertaste if you get a flavored variety...

And Aunt Esther is a beast in the low box clearing out space with her loaded purse. She will definitely expose our rebounding deficiencies.

I used to go to one out in Laguna hills in Orange County 8-10 years ago. Must've closed .
