I have no idea how they are going to neogotiate, but they have a hammer in NYC they don't have in Eastern PA - so the fact they haven't been successful there might not be predicitve. It's going to be a war though. The NFL Net and MSG were much more desireable stations and were drawn out battles.

You'll also have to convince the Yankees that this is a good idea. I'm not convinced they go this way. The Yankees might be thinking that carving up the pie with the BTN might eat into future revenues.

No comments about #38 on that list? This board likes to tell us that they are not a relevant TV market but how a team that was 2-10 last year is #38 on this list kind of throw a monkey wrench into that argument.

What many on the BY do not understand is that few teams "bring value" on their own. The vast majority get their value from the matchups with other teams. That is the worst part of our current conference position. There are no FB matchups that any fan outside of CT would care to see in our current conference. The FL & TX schools are well down the line in fan interest in their own markets. Even in MBB we replace compelling in conference matches with almost nothing. Where would Cincy and Memphis (the two best) have placed in our must see list had they joined the BE, 6th or 7th?
